Tangra Festival, taking place in Bulgaria is closing in. Less than a month to go and I continue my showcasing if interesting artists performing at the festival. Next stop is Dj Organica; Bruno Mendes from Lisbon, Portugal. This talented 31 year old discovered electronic dancemusic already in 1995 and is playing some really groovy psychedelic fullon.
He describes his sets as a "combination of many elements: deeply elastic, baggy-grooved stuff, that
transports you to a dusty summer dancefloor, to more full-on darker
sounds and structures, and filmic edged soundscapes". After discovering the psy-scene in Portugal he made the move to London where he
lived for a few years and from there, with all the dazzling
decors, quality djs and a truly electric atmosphere parties he became
inspired, for unifying dance music. Nowdays he Dj ´s with Wooprz Records
and Up!Noize Rec ... in order to create nice feel-good music that makes us
feel good while simultaneously giving us messages that can expand our
consciousness and free our beings from conditioning and illusion.
