Elysium aka Kristian Thinning Andersen is a Danish artist having a bunch of releases to his name. He released his first EP in 1994 but the real breakthrough came in 1995 when his album Dance For The Celestial Beings was released on Nova Zembla. I heard it for the first time at a friends place and instantly fell in love with it. I have returned to it again and again, never tiring, always fascinating with the simple yet deep and layered sound-scape that was created by Elysium. And I´m now a proud owner of the vinyl-release :)
The follow-up came called Celestial Sounds And Neurotic Tribal Beats was released 2 years later, and albeit not such a classic in my opinion is an album well worth listening to again and again.
So why all this rambling about old goatrance?
Well, Kristian has decided to make a Dance For The Celestial Beings part II, releasing it in high-quality on physical cds. However he needs our help to gather the money to make this happen. He is gonna make a limeted 300 copies release and need about 2.000 dollars to do so.
